Feeding Guide

We recommend using the guide below as a starting point, but every pet is different. Adjust the feeding amount as necessary to help your pet achieve an ideal body weight. Divide the number of cups per day by the number of feedings per day. Daily Feeding Guidelines (standard 8 oz dry measure cup): 6 to 19 weeks: 1-3 lb: ½-1 cup; 4-6 lb: 1-1 ¾ cups; 7-10 lb +: 1 ¾-2 ½ cups 5 to 9 months: 1-3 lb: ½-¾ cup; 4-6 lb: ¾-1 ¼ cups; 7-10 lb +: 1 ¼-2 cups 9 to 12 months: 4-6 lb: ¾-1 cup; 7-10 lb +: 1-1 ½ cups Over 12 months: Transition to Instinct® Raw Longevity™ 100% Raw Freeze-Dried Raw Meals for Adult Cats NEW TO RAW: Introduce raw over a period of 5 to 7 days, mixing increasing amounts with the current food each day.
