When fleas ingest the product, the active ingredient over-stimulates the flea's nervous system and kills the flea. For best results, use Advantus at the first sign of fleas. • Contains 7 soft chews for small dogs: A single dose of Advantus kills adult fleas on a dog. It is safe to repeat treatments as needed, up to once per day
• Although it does not prevent fleas, Advantus works to kill them, starting within one hour. For monthly flea and tick prevention, consider Seresto or K9 Advantix II for dogs.
• Chewable flea treatment for dogs and puppies age 10 weeks and older

Instructions: You should weigh your dog before giving this medication to make sure you are using the right size for your dog. Do not give to puppies younger than 10 weeks of age or to dogs weighting less than 4 pounds. Do not give more than one tablet a day. To give Advantus®, place the soft chew directly in your dog's mouth or allow your dog to take the soft chew from your hand. Watch closely to ensure your dog swallows the soft chew.
